It’s essential that we learn how to deal with obnoxious situations before us, enabling a better management of how we face the negative conditioning we’re subjected to in the environment we’re inserted into in the present moment. The majority of the time we let such negativity influence our decision making process, performing the first thing that comes to our unconscious mind instead of observing, analysing, and understanding what options we’ve at hand while consciously choosing the best alternative for the resources available. The more we keep consciousness at hand to practise performing conscious decisions, the lighter we become when dealing with the unknown.

How many times have we got stuck in the middle of a situation without exactly knowing what to do? It happens more often than we can ever imagine, mainly when we’re under a huge pressure from the outside combined with a negative criticism attempting to slash our back at the first sight. Keeping the self in the present moment, and knowing exactly what happens deep within—and in the surroundings—makes all the difference to properly deal with the situation, no matter how harsh or challenging it can be.

We need to evaluate what we’ve before us in order to make the best decision for the moment and the scenario posed. Sometimes we need a fast response, which may not be the best option available. In other situations we may have more room to choose an alternative that takes more time yet gives us an enhanced outcome if compared with any other alternative we may be able to perform. And we could only see all possibilities if we keep consciousness at hand.

Let’s perform our body and mind training while practising the act of making conscious and meaningful decisions. The more we understand and practise, the better our decisions become shaped by the knowledge, experience and wisdom acquired.
