On this April Fools’ day, let’s talk about shoes, and the delightful universe of the different sizes and models we fall in love with at first sight, which may cause us to experience a period of suffering just imagining our feet could not fit comfortably in one of them. What problem do we have at hand when not able to master the art of choosing the right shoes, which may become our lifetime companion? The majority of us pass a lifetime either complaining about the lack of good shoes or getting back to old memories of those astonishing shoes we had once and we couldn’t find it again, being also not satisfied with similar models currently available. Some of us also have no taste for picking good shoes, which implies the need to keep consciousness at hand in order to master the art of shoes. The moment we realise how to become comfortable with the shoes we already have, or using both knowledge and wisdom to highlight the beauty of those good old shoes, it’s the moment we understand how resourceful and happy we can be.

There’re moments of our life journey where we feel more energetic and free, which may lead us to manifest a raw and wild sensation of freedom, walking barefoot through the world without experiencing the astonishing experience of picking up and trying a good pair of shoes for that special night out. Eureka! We may say it when realising how much time we’ve spent with no shoes, and therefore, what we can do to prevent the self to create a deep dependency on the comfort and stillness those new shoes may bring to us.

Mastering the art of shoes is nothing more than mastering a way of either picking the right shoes for the right moment, or as an enhancement of our knowledge and wisdom, learning how to combine the same old-fashioned pair of shoes with different types of clothes that fit for any occasion we may have to show off our pretty face and perform out in the middle of the crowd.

Let’s remember: it’s much better to master the art of shoes and having no need to put it into practice rather than needing it and having no knowledge at hand to do so.
