It’s getting more and more difficult to find a trustworthy source of information these days, as it seems we’ve entered into the deception era, which has been predicted by Sir. Alan Turing back to the period right before World War II. We’ve more and more difficulty to differentiate an Artificial Intelligence (AI) bot from a human being when we aren’t talking in person, and if we continue the deterioration of the human factor, we would also have difficulty to differentiate a human being from a humanoid with artificial skin. Thus, the more motivation we’ve to acquire as much knowledge as we can, the better we get prepared for facing and dealing with the unknown, as well as anything aside from our love nature.
Instead of getting enhanced, we’re observing quite the opposite, which implies issues old generations had already overcome while new generations are struggling with as part of the “new normal”. And the worst outcome is that such a “new normal” is also swallowing old generations in the process. We’re letting knowledge acquisition and education become a side concern in a society driven by the illusory power of money. AI could bring light to make us extraordinary but it seems to be walking towards another direction. We need to wake up to see the truth behind the scenes before it gets too late to do it in the next 50 to 100 years to come.
Let’s be brave to face the presence of darkness in the surroundings and deal with the unknown in a conscious and meaningful way. The more conscious we become, the less afraid of the unknown and the impermanence of the universe we are.
