We’re creatures of love with a huge potential to become extraordinary, although we’re far from being perfect, and therefore, prone to step into periods of suffering during our life journey. In spite of the fact that experiencing suffering isn’t something we should be proud of one another, some people go to the extreme level of dishonour, dishonesty, and deception by laughing and profiting from the suffering of others. The use of our intrinsic ability to think, and therefore, the use of our developed capability of reasoning is what makes us human beings. Recognising we aren’t perfect and we’re prone to make mistakes is also a good side of a human being, and that’s why we use little or not at all our mind and brain when laughing and profiting from the suffering of others, making us closer to an artificial intelligent agent rather than a human being ourselves.
It’s more common than we may think it’s to face and deal with dishonoured, dishonest, and deceptive people all along our life journey. And there’s no equal dishonoured, dishonest, and deceptive behaviours, as they’re completely defined and specified towards the people who become a target that need to be broken. Let’s think a little bit about that.
Besides the fact of experiencing periods of suffering, and therefore, being prone to performing brainless actions is a common outcome of being alive, let’s think about the following question(s): Is it more challenging to use our huge potential to work and perform our personal duties? Or is it more challenging becoming slaves of our own suffering, and therefore, giving up and stop using our huge potential for enhancing the self? On the one hand, fulfilling our personal duties gives us rewards in terms of recognition and (sometimes) financial gain, although we may lose the connection with people, and the touch of caring about life as the ultimate goal. On the other hand, if we accept being slaves of our own suffering, the only thing we’ll get is the recognition of being weak, and therefore, part of inferior beings who may live a life depending on the desires of others, who may would like to see us whether in a good position in society or a deteriorative one, all according to the type of suffering we must accept to become a slave of.
The moment we find out the common answer for the aforementioned question(s), it’s the moment we understand why becoming slaves of our own suffering is always the wrong choice we can ever make during our life journey.
