It’s important we get prepared to apply defensive manoeuvres any time, anywhere, and at any circumstances. Although the majority of us live in an environment where internal conflicts and wars are somehow not so close, dealing with dishonest, dishonoured, and deceptive people and behaviours requires us to be ready for facing and dealing with anything before us. It’s important to keep consciousness at hand to realise and understand the impact of anything we experience in life, mainly when our decisions affect others directly (or indirectly). In Buddhism we say that observing raw, wild, and brainless actions is due to the nature of our u...

Understanding the environment we’re inserted into is important either to draw or use suitable strategies to handle any type of challenge or issue we may have to deal with in the present moment. Observing the surroundings is a suitable strategy we can always use independent of the situation, when we attempt to identify potential sources of threats, which may cause us trouble in the future. Although we may not act to end any source of problems in the first place, being prepared to deal with the unknown is indeed essential to make us more resilient against anything aside from our love nature, preventing us from wasting time with something that brings no genuine benefits for what needs to be done. The more we realise that, the better we can handle any demand reaching our desk or front door. Let’s be aware and awaken of what happens in the surroundings, enabling us to properly deal with any issue derived from the negative conditioning we’re subjected to in the environment we’re insert...
