When facing and dealing with violations of fundamental human rights, we need to be strong, keeping consciousness at hand no matter the circumstances. It’s extremely important to understand who we really are, what type of environment we’re inserted into, and how we can deal with dishonoured, dishonest, and deceptive people in a conscious and meaningful way. The majority of the time we’ve to face and deal with the worst of humanity, the disgusting situations we cannot even imagine, and those are what makes it extremely difficult, or even impossible, to establish a conscious conversation with someone who practises such types of violations. Thus, as a matter of self-defence, we need to perform our body and mind training, being ready to deal with the unknown. The more we do that, the better we can establish a strong yet peaceful station to walk the path towards a meaningful life, getting up, e.g., from a meditative posture if, and only if, required to defend life against harmful actions performed towards us in disgusting and unbelievable ways.
Dealing with violations of fundamental human rights isn’t an easy task to perform. On the contrary, it’s one of the most challenging situations we may face during our lifetime. It’s by ending such types of violation that we can end a Nazi-related legacy, where we see people who consider themselves as members of a superior race performing disgusting and harmful actions against the one who they consider inferior. It’s crystal clear we’ve a difficult situation at hand, although it’s much more challenging dealing with the person who commits such a violation than with the violation itself. We’ve always the difficult choice of life preservation at hand, and sometimes, a disturbed person who considers themselves as a member of a superior race just ignore the life of a person who they consider inferior, which creates a dilemma when we’ve to face a harmful person who gets offended by the simple fact of an inferior being excelling in something. The dilemma is: What could we do if we get into a life-threatening situation with those people who treat others as disposable things? Unfortunately, there’s no common understanding on that matter. It would depend on many factors, which include the environment, the scene, and people involved.
Thus, walking the path towards a meaningful life implies finding the true answer for the aforementioned question posed at the end of the last paragraph. And as such an answer depends on the situation we’re experiencing, it’s essential to keep consciousness at hand to make the right decision with no regrets of the outcome and its consequences. The more we realise that, the better we understand why we need to get ready to face and deal with the unknown in a conscious and meaningful way.
