When we keep consciousness at hand we start understanding that making the most of everything we experience depends on us and people we establish a strong bond with, rather than the environment itself we’re inserted into. Although the environment may pose challenges and difficulties towards us, we can always diminish any negativity we’ve contact with in a conscious and meaningful way. It’s also important that we start to understand what our true power really is, implying a higher level of peace of mind when dealing with challenging situations, getting ready to face the unknown with no fear of the outcome resulting from that encounter.
There’s always, at least, two perspectives we need to consider when facing the presence of darkness in the surroundings: the external perspective and our own. When we observe things from our own perspective, we can say for sure what the source of any disgusting behaviour and situation we need to deal with is, being easy to segregate such sources from our own suffering while keeping consciousness at hand no matter the circumstances. On the other hand, observing anything from an external perspective makes us unable to understand anything from another’s perspective but being totally sure whether there’re violations of fundamental human rights taking place, or there’re disgusting behaviours being performed sporadically or intentionally.
We just need to keep consciousness at hand to understand what we’re facing and dealing with in the present moment. Let’s keep observing and understanding.
