Identifying the presence of darkness in the surroundings is understanding how dishonour, dishonesty, and deception works in the society we’re part of. There’s no secret but a conscious mind and a sharp eye to see the truth behind the scenes, understanding the course of actions and the situation we’re experiencing. As a matter of precaution, it’s extremely important that we perform our body and mind training, learning the minimum of self-defence techniques through martial arts—and developing those techniques either in a dojo or through self-taught practices—in order to be able to apply defensive manoeuvres against a harmful person of any size, no matter the circumstances. Unfortunately, we’re in the middle of an unfair environment, and therefore, we need to live the best yet getting ready and prepared to deal with the worst. The moment we set such a mindset, it’s the moment we understand how to cultivate and nurture the beautiful light we’ve deep within in a conscious and meaningful way.

Fear is something we need to get used to facing until the moment we master it, and therefore, we fear no more. Fear means hesitation, and hesitation creates a temporal gap that makes all the difference in applying self-defence manoeuvres. In order to master our fears, we need to get used to them, looking those fears directly in the eyes and establish a focused and peaceful mind deep into the void, a mind that needs to be ready to make a defensive move faster than it may be expected by a harmful threat before us.

At the same time we need to master our fear, which implies understanding our own suffering, we need to keep cultivating and nurturing the beautiful light we’ve deep within, understanding that any negative energy we’ve contact with can be channelled and converted into something positive, an asset at hand we can use in our favour. Let’s never forget that.

We’ve an astonishing and powerful light deep within. We just need to tap into and manifest our unlimited power in a conscious and meaningful way. Love always both surpasses and trespasses hate, no matter the circumstances. We just need to find a way of doing that.
