The purpose of understanding our own suffering is making us generate happiness from the inside out, even when knowing we could be happier if beside someone we love. We cannot let either the environment we’re inserted into or the situation we’re experiencing in the present moment obfuscate our beautiful light. In order to do that, we need to realise and clearly understand the difference between attachment and love. If we’re attached to someone, as Jetsunma Tenzin Palmo is used to saying, we want the other person to make us happy. On the other hand, if we love someone, we get happier to see the other person happy, implying that we experience a boost of our inner happiness when beside someone we love. The moment we realise that, it’s the moment we understand why happiness is something generated from the inside out, and why no one has the power to make us happy; at most, someone we love boosts the positive energy we manifest towards the self and others.
Let’s be happy, observing, analysing, and understanding our own suffering in a conscious and meaningful way. Let’s be aware and awaken to our inner strength, looking into the mirror and understanding how beautiful we already are, even if we’re alone in the present moment.
Let’s enjoy life, even in moments we know for sure that we could be happier if we were beside someone we love. We’re astonishing creatures of love with the huge potential to be extraordinary. Let’s keep consciousness at hand, and therefore, use our third eye to help us walk the path towards a meaningful life no matter the circumstances.
If in doubt, always generate happiness from deep within. Let’s smile and be a strong source of light we would like to see out there.
