We need to observe, recognise, and understand why darkness is in the surroundings, and why violations of human rights keep happening besides the fact we already have common laws protecting it from happening. The reflection starts asking: How could we get proof that our fundamental human rights have been violated if a state’s employee is doing it? Let’s take the examples in Ukraine and Gaza strip. State’s employees are harming the lives of civilians, and we can only get proof about that violation of human rights if either the executor is recording themselves doing the crime or the victim—or anyone else—is recording it, and that recorded material is presented to the international court of law. It doesn’t make the thousands of other lives that we’ve no proof of the violations being committed against less important. Our reflection needs to be deeper than that. We need to ask a deeper question: Why do people still attempt to harm another sentient being in exchange of both money and power over others? Both money and power over others are illusions. Money is a human being creation, and power over others is the result of an illusory hierarchical model we’ve established in the current society. It’s clear as crystal that violations of fundamental human rights are happening all over the world because a mind in suffering does not respect the personal space of another. Therefore, we need common laws, another illusory trick, to prevent those violations from happening. We, conscious beings seeing them clearly, are powerless to intervene in a group of people with common interests of nationality, religion, race, gender, and so on, performing them. Therefore, the moment we realise the foundation of modern society is illusory by nature, it’s the moment we understand we can only stop violation of fundamental human rights from happening if we face darkness within our own perspective and relativity to prevent the dissemination of hatred culture to our future generations.
We live in an illusory scene and we’ve to behave as illusions we’ve contact with are part of the reality we experience while keeping consciousness at hand. The majority of the sentient beings have not achieved the capability of segregating illusions from the reality being experienced within their own perspective and relativity. We’ve been conditioned to believe that illusions of money, power over others, and any other mankind fabrication is reality. They are far from that concept. Any mankind fabrication is an illusion we mix with the reality we experience in the present moment. Let’s take an example. If we meet our neighbour we’ve no idea of what they do for a living, and if they’re something associated with a given profession they say to be, it’s nothing more than an illusion. We will only really know who our neighbour is if that person gets close and intimate with the self, enabling us to see clearly who we’re dealing with. Besides that, everything about our neighbours are illusions mixed with the reality we experience within our own perspective and relativity in the present moment.
That illusory nature of modern society opens room for violation of fundamental human rights with little or no concern of others. It’s clear as crystal that no one will start observing a neighbour 24/7 to see what they are doing and reporting it to be disseminated somewhere else. That observation and reporting configure a violation of fundamental human rights—i.e., privacy’s violation—per se. How could we prove such a violation? Simple: we just need to start, e.g., using our vacuum cleaner during strange yet allowed hours in the heart of our own privacy, and if our privacy has been violated we will get something back to us at some point in the future, sooner or later. We just need to wait.
Therefore, what is really important is how we face and deal with such violations. We cannot prevent them from happening, as we’re powerless to control the suffering of another. However, we’ve the power to control the self, and that’s how we stop darkness from spreading itself and making more victims everywhere. No one would like to see the creation of more conflicts like the ones happening in both Gaza strip and Ukraine. We, as creatures of love, would like to see a peaceful world, where people are pleased to be in the presence of one another, collaborating and cooperating for the advancement of the current knowledge we already possess. Any other goal that’s not totally aligned with our love nature, and beneficial to every single sentient being walking this world we call Earth, is useless, reckless, and therefore unnecessary.
The moment we keep consciousness at hand to attain the clarity of mind required to see why we need to be aligned with our love nature, it’s the moment we understand it’s only through performing our body and mind training and getting ready to face darkness and diminish any negative conditioning we’re subjected to that we can stop violations of human rights from happening in the future to come.
