Being good is totally different to appearing good. How many times did we feel drained? How many times did we feel that we were not enough? How many times did we think we cannot deal with the amount of negativity we’ve contact with in the environment we’re inserted into? There’re a lot of questions we may ask ourselves to check if we’re really good, or we’re just appearing good. The main parameter we can use to help us understand such a difference is to measure how good we’re when we get totally alone. Being alone (instead of lonely) is the ultimate test we can apply to check how good we’re if we get no support from anyone to perform our daily activities. When we’re functioning alone, we’re able to perform our body and mind training while dealing with obnoxious situations no matter the circumstances. That’s the moment we understand happiness is generated from the inside out and not the other way around.

Being good alone is something we can do with little or no effort. And it’s the right thing to do when we intend to kneel before darkness in no situation or circumstance. It doesn’t mean we cannot live astonishing moments and memories beside another wonderful source of light. On the contrary, it means we need to become good alone in order to observe, analyse, and understand what we’re experiencing in the present moment.

Let’s be brave and keep walking the path no matter the circumstances. The more powerful we become, the easier it’s to be the source of light we would like to see out there.
