It’s important we attain a suitable level of peace of mind, in which we make sure we’re 200% certain on the tough decisions we would make if certain conditions present themselves before us. We need to be prepared for standing strong and tall, using knowledge as our shield if a mind experiencing a deep period of suffering attempts to cause any type of harm towards us, or any other innocent people related to the situation. Let’s remember the most challenging thing on attaining higher levels of peace of mind is being aware and conscious of what happens in the present moment, at the same time of knowing our hands are tied, i.e., we can observe, analyse, and understand the situation yet we’ve no power to do anything to achieve a solution without trespassing the tiny line segregating right from wrong. As a consequence of trespassing such a tiny line, we would perform an act of self-punishment only by attempting to make justice with our bare hands, considering the concept of justice is just an illusion we’ve contact with in the environment we’re inserted into. It’s that considerable long period of time we get stuck in the limbo of the illusory concept of justice that we need our consciousness the most, or instead of stepping into our personal evolution we would just step ahead to fall down to a place some call hell, never coming back without being burned by our own ignorance and periods of suffering combined. The Buddha, the enlightened one, is the only known figure (until present time, year 2025) capable of experiencing hell and heaven without getting burned and deteriorated in the long run. The moment we learn how to face a dishonoured, dishonest, and deceptive situation without raising our hand or leg to throw either a punch or a kick first, it’s the moment we understand that learning martial arts and self-defence manoeuvres doesn’t mean we would need to use that knowledge in real-life situations at all during our life journey.
When we start understanding priceless pieces of knowledge extracted from past history, we start putting into perspective some situations we thought would never be possible to have really happened a long time ago. It’s important we get aware and awake of the fact we can only look back to history events that have been registered, which means we depend on the honour, honesty, and non-deceptive behaviour of people to get an accurate perception of the reality experienced by us, or every other single individual during past moments. Thus, it’s only by keeping consciousness at hand that we can truly understand why honour is so essential to support walking the path towards a meaningful life in a conscious and meaningful way.
The true warrior is the one who knows the truth, but even so, consciously decides to keep walking the path towards a meaningful life with honour and honesty no matter what happens in the surroundings, understanding we’re the ones who have the true power of deciding the course of our own destiny.
